Mythaca details

The Birdwoman from Journey to Mythaca, illustrated by Josephine Laing.

Here's what that flyer (too hard to read in the .jpg version) says:

“Journey to Mythaca is my cup of tea, brimming with wisdom, humor and heart. This tale is a tonic for the ills of disenchantment.” Gwen Jones Rinehart, MA Mythological Studies, Pacifica Graduate Institute

“A delicious read, layered in metaphor and meaning. “ Roslyn A. Strohl, MFT

One day,
when the rhythm
of all the worlds
is momentarily the same,
and all the clocks chime in harmony,
in the briefest instant between those chimes,
when the worlds touch,
two children
just might
find Mythaca.

A compelling tale of the borderlands, the
magical realm that dances between our world
and the world of mythic beasts, in which an
elderly dragon, an impetuous flying horse and a wise winged cat join Ivan, almost eleven, and Marianna, twelve, on a quest for the lost city of Mythaca.

Will they be able to overcome Maya, the elusive shape-changer who has foiled every quest for Mythaca before theirs?

Will they learn to use the magical gifts they receive?

Can they resolve the paradox that hides the key to Mythaca?

And where, or what, is Mythaca?
